The First Day of the Rest of Your Life
/The first couple of weeks in September are often the busiest of the year as people return to their desks after vacations and are often in a hurry to catch up on all that has happened (or not) in the slower months of the year.
Before getting drawn into the intensity of the last quarter of the calendar year, this is a great time to make some re-affirmations for yourself. A great time to ask some powerful questions or formulate some exciting plans that will shape your direction in the coming months or perhaps the coming years. We know enough in this day and age of our madly spinning world that if we stand still in our careers for too long, we risk going backwards.
So my encouragement at this pivotal moment in time, is to check in with yourself that you are ok with how your world is shaping up and if it’s giving you the fulfilment, recognition and rewards that you really want and deserve. And if not, maybe seek out some help to focus you on the direction you might want to take next.
Think boldly and perhaps conceive of this day (and of course any future day) as the first day of the rest of your life.
I can highly recommend Brosna's professional, rigorous and tailored approach - it was a massive factor in me securing this important role...
